About MDCharityMatch
Thank you for your interest in MDCharityMatch.com.
MDMatch is a grassroots organization developed by residents at Northwestern Hospital to facilitate
discourse between employers and job seekers as well as to raise awareness of philanthropic
opportunities for medical practitioners both regionally and abroad.
Our primary site, MDCareerMatch.com,
is designed as a posting site for employment opportunities organized by both specialty and region.
It is entirely free both to applicants and employers, and job postings can be entered in a matter
of minutes and removed easily once the position is filled.
You control how your organization is contacted and the manner in which interviews are conducted
without interference from a middleman.
Similarly, our sister site, MDCharityMatch.com, lists a host of philanthropic opportunities
ranging from volunteering medical service to educational and political positions specifically
geared to the unique training which we have received as physicians.
These are organized regionally and can be listed by specialty.
By linking commerce and philanthropy, MDMatch hopes to raise awareness of the needs of a community
and to facilitate a means by which medical practitioners can use their unique training for the
betterment of their local communities and the world around them.
We hope you will aid us in this goal by sending information about our site to medical
professionals and employers in your area. We are working to distribute information concerning
our site to every program director for every graduating resident in America,
and in the following months, we aim to build the number of listings for both employment
and charitable opportunities to become the most comprehensive resource listing to date.
MDCareerMatch.com and MDCharityMatch.com are "blackboard" posting sites for organizations
and corporations with volunteer or career opportunities specifically geared toward physicians.
Postings are made by the organizing groups without review or approval of the MDMatch Corporation.
As such, the ideas and aims of specific projects do not necessarily reflect the goals or mission
